About Chorus

The challenge

The way goods are made, moved, and managed is broken

Trillions of dollars worth of inventory is moved through the world’s supply chains each year, yet many businesses have no way of reliably tracking the movement or condition of their goods. This lack of visibility leads to staggering amounts of waste and inefficiency.

Industrial machine in action

Every year...

20₵
of every dollar spent in manufacturing is wasted.

$50B
worth of cargo is lost.

$35 Billion
worth of pharmaceuticals expires due to shipping temperature issues.

1.3 billion
tons of food are lost or wasted.

Our history

What if every item had a voice?

Chorus started when a team of scientists, engineers, and product managers came together to try and tackle waste and inefficiencies in the global supply chain. Identifying lack of visibility as a key issue, our team focused on creating new ways to deliver real-time insights into the exact location, condition, and usage of physical goods.

Since then, Chorus has developed a groundbreaking suite of orchestration tools offering end-to-end visibility with actionable alerts and insights. With our advanced, proprietary technology, utilization of existing infrastructure, and powerful AI-based algorithms, Chorus is uniquely positioned to meaningfully increase efficiencies and reduce waste on a global scale. Chorus began as a project at X, The Moonshot Factory, an innovation lab that is part of Alphabet, Google’s parent company. Visit the X website for more details.
