The role
Under the general guidance of a Head of Partner Management, this individual cultivates and maintains an on-going strategic relationship with their clients across an assigned Partner or a small group of direct Clients. The Account Manager is responsible for the overall retention of their clients through stewardship of the contract. In addition the Account Manager is required to expand the Chorus Products and Solutions across their Book of Business in order to achieve revenue growth.

Essential functions
- Deploys Chorus’ advanced, consultative, and strategic approach to account management. This includes the successful implementation and promotion of various program initiatives.
- For existing partners and accounts, engages with the C-Suite, Regional or Facility leadership to discuss Quarterly Business Reviews and expand the business relationship with the Client.
- The Account Manager owns the client issue escalation and resolution process. Working directly with key internal partners, the Account Manager achieves timely responses on all issues along with setting proper expectations for clients.
- Manages their client base through Chorus’ CRM software. This includes the tracking and management of Activities, Tasks, Contacts, and other material events with clients.
- The Account Manager will also document the up-selling of Chorus’ Products and Solutions, and how those relate to the overall retention strategy.
- Work with Client Implementation team to work on an initial standardized implementation and support plan for live/signed clients
- Frequently prepares quarterly business review materials, facilitates client engagement calls, conducts routine client-facing remote video-based training and oversees the implementation of new activities
- Works with other Chorus stakeholders (Operations, Client Services, Business Development) to assure that invoices and receivables are received in a timely manner
- Develop and execute a targeted outreach strategy to initiate conversations with key decision makers (C-suite, VP of Product/Business Development) at potential partner companies.
What you should have
- B.S. Degree or equivalent
- 15+ years managing commercial client and partner relationships
- 8+ years of direct customer management experience selling and supporting successful deployments of your company’s products and services
- Hands-on ability to use, train and support software as a service products, and basic network connectivity services.
- Progressively advanced and took additional responsibilities in their career
- Exceptional task management skills and product definition experience
- Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English
Nice to have
- Sales and marketing experience with data analytics and machine learning
- Direct experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Hands-on CRM experience with Salesforce or equivalent
